I awoke the other morning to find this ‘just because’ clip waiting for me in my inbox, courtesy of my love. Excuse the sap, but he still knows how to take my breath away.
Those guys are crazy. I don’t understand half of what they’re talking about, but I can see them doing things that look crazy. Crazy and dangerous.
One of the latest myths to be busted included the need to go hang gliding. It really does look amazing, floating through the sky like that. I wouldn’t do it though.
On my scale of do-ability, I’d hang glide before I sky dived. But I still wouldn’t do it.
My Mum has been staying with us for the last little while. Her favourite show to watch is Doc Martin, so I’ve caught a glimpse or two of a few episodes as she’s watched on Saturday nights.
And you know what? I think I may actually like it. This realisation has unnerved me a little, however. Knowing it’s a favourite of both my parents and parents-in-law has made me feel like I’ve entered a new age bracket.
I’m going to keep telling myself it is more to do with being able to appreciate a good TV show when I see one!
You may have noticed my daily photos have come to a standstill. That’s because my daily walks where I’d take the photo also stopped. On 22/11/11 I ran a marathon instead.
Our daughter Zoe joined our family last week, weighing 3.77kg and measuring 52cm. What a precious gift from God she is! We’re enjoying getting to know her, learning all the ins and outs of this newborn stage and whiling away the hours simply staring at her.
